A Painting Made From Your Story

Some stories are too meaningful to remain just words.

Every story looks different.
That is the point.

A story of rest, water,
and returning inward.

A story of courage, self-belief,
and beginning again.

Love You More

A story of grief, memory, and a mother’s love.

No Walls - COMING SOON

“You’re doing alright, kid.”
A symbolic story painting in progress.

WOW - COMING SOON

The Wave That Brought Us Here.
Two sisters learning to ride the same wave.

"I didn't know how to explain what I was carrying. Lisa found a way to put it on a wall — and somehow, that made it easier to carry."

STACY
Held and Moving Forward

The hidden cedar compartment built into the back of every Lisa Jane heirloom story art frame, housing the hand-stitched Written Story book.

Every painting comes with a hand-stitched book of your story.

Hidden inside the frame.
An heirloom inside an heirloom.

The Written Story book — hand-stitched, linen-bound, and housed inside the painting's frame. Part of every Lisa Jane heirloom story art commission.
Open book with an abstract art illustration on the left page featuring a geometric design with black, red, white, and blue colors, and a blank right page with faint text.

This is how a story becomes a painting

The Written Story Book — hand-stitched, linen-bound, and hidden inside the cedar frame. Your story, held inside the painting itself.

The Detail— hand-painted layer by layer, slowly, on natural hardwood

The Finished Piece— framed, varnished, and made to last generations

Thirty years of craft.
One story at a time.

I'm Lisa, a British-born artist living and working in Ohio. For thirty years, I created visual work for others. Now, I’ve returned to what I love most: making paintings that tell real stories and slowly reveal their meaning, layer by layer.

Work rooted in meaning, memory, and presence.
